What you are agreeing to

By participating as a contributor for Al-Qasim Hausa Nexus, you understand and agree to the following:

1. Use of your recordings. Your voice recordings will be used to build Hausa language AI datasets. These datasets may be licensed or sold to AI companies, research institutions, and technology organisations worldwide for training machine learning models including ASR (automatic speech recognition), TTS (text-to-speech), and NLP (natural language processing) systems.

2. Your information. Your name, dialect, location, age, gender, and recording environment data will be stored as metadata alongside your recordings. This metadata is part of the dataset product and may be shared with dataset clients in anonymised or attributed form as agreed.

3. Compensation. Compensation for approved recordings will be discussed and agreed before any recording session begins. Submitting this application does not guarantee immediate payment or onboarding.

4. Withdrawal. You may withdraw your consent at any time before your recordings are incorporated into a delivered dataset by contacting us at alqasimyusif.work@gmail.com.

Before you begin, please introduce yourself in Hausa. Tell us your name, where you grew up, and a few sentences about yourself — your work, daily life, or anything you'd like to share. Speak naturally, as you would in conversation. This helps us understand your dialect and voice before we begin working together.
